Size Guide

Our shoes run true to size on a slightly slim last. If you sit between sizes, take the smaller; the leather will give a touch with wear.

Foot length is measured from the back of the heel to the tip of the longest toe.

How to measure

  1. 1

    Stand on paper

Place a sheet of plain paper on a hard floor and stand on it, weight evenly distributed. Wear the sock you’d normally wear with the shoe, as sock thickness changes the answer.

  2. 2

    Mark heel and toe

With a pencil held vertical to the paper, mark the back of your heel and the very tip of the longest toe. Repeat for the other foot, as most people have one foot slightly larger than the other.

  3. 3

Take the longer of the two

Measure in millimetres between the two marks. Use the larger foot’s measurement against the table above to pick a size.

Width & fitting

All shoes are made on a Standard (F) width as default. Wider (G) and slim (E) fits are available on a small selection of styles, marked at the product level. If a fit is wrong on arrival, exchange is free.

A note on break-in

Full-grain leather is firm out of the box. Expect three to five wears before the shoe settles around the foot. Mild tightness across the instep on the first day is normal and resolves quickly. Pinching at the toe is not, so return for a half-size up.
